From the direction of Utrecht/Den Haag
Approaching from the A12, keep to the route for Delft/Rotterdam/Den Haag-Zuid/Amsterdam. Follow the signs towards Den Haag-Zuid/Rijswijk. Then follow the signs towards the industrial area 'Plaspoelpolder', junction 10. For further details, see 'Junction for Plaspoelpolder'.
From the direction of Rotterdam
Approaching from the A13, take exit 7 for the A4 towards Rijswijk/Den Haag-Zuid. Continue on the A4 towards Rijswijk/Den Haag-Zuid. Then keep to the route for 'Plaspoelpolder'. Then keep right, and take exit 10 for 'Plaspoelpolder'. For further details, see 'Junction for Plaspoelpolder'.
Junction for Plaspoelpolder
At the exit for 'Plaspoelpolder', you will see the tall building of the European Patent Office (EPO) on your right-hand side next to the motorway. At the end of the slip-road, turn right at the traffic lights onto Diepenhorstlaan and keep in the right lane. At the next set of traffic lights, turn right onto Veraartlaan.
If there is sufficient space in the visitor's car park of the European Patent Office, you may park there. Turn right at the next set of traffic lights towards the visitor's car park. You can report to the porter via the intercom, after which you can search for a space in the car park. If there are no spaces left in the car park, you may park in the vicinity of the building.
As you walk in front of the building, you can then enter the building via the wide steps and report to reception.
Identity card
NL Patent Office is situated within the premises of the European Patent Office. The porters will ask you to present a valid identity card.
